Pregnancy is a powerful time for healing, both emotionally and neurologically.
During pregnancy, the brain undergoes significant changes that enhance emotional processing, increase neuroplasticity, and heighten a woman’s ability to adapt.
The hormonal shifts and changes in brain structure can make confronting and releasing past traumas or unprocessed emotions easier, providing a unique opportunity for self-reflection and growth.
The increased capacity for neural change allows for deep healing, as the mind becomes more open to reframe limiting beliefs, strengthen intuition, and prepare for the transition into motherhood.
This neurological shift creates an ideal environment for healing and transformation during pregnancy.
-
Pregnancy can bring unexpected waves of emotion—joy, fear, grief, anxiety, and everything in between.
Counselling during pregnancy provides a safe space to unpack these feelings, develop healthy coping tools, bond with your baby, plan your postpartum, and feel more emotionally balanced and supported.

FAQs - Baby Reflexology
-
Baby reflexology is a gentle technique that involves applying light pressure to specific points on your baby’s feet, hands, and ears.
These points correspond to different areas of the body, such as the tummy, neck, intestines, and lungs.
Through these gentle reflexology techniques for babies, we for example help regulate their nervous system, support digestion, address colic and reflux symptoms, and promote deep relaxation. It’s completely safe and non-invasive.
-
Baby reflexology for better sleep is a natural way to help your baby settle, relax, and sleep more deeply. Reflexology works by calming your baby’s nervous system, easing tension, and supporting better digestion—so they’re more comfortable and able to rest. Many parents notice improved sleep after just a few sessions.
-
Digestive discomfort is so common in newborns—and often so distressing to both baby and the parents.
Baby reflexology can help with digestive issues like wind, constipation, colic, and reflux by stimulating reflex points that support the digestive system.
-
Yes, absolutely. You can come to the treatment when your baby is 2 weeks old. However, if your baby was born before week 37, I recommend waiting until 2 weeks after the due date.
-
Colic can be incredibly stressful for both baby and parent. Baby reflexology for colic relief focuses on calming the gut, releasing trapped wind, and relaxing the whole body. Gentle treatment supports natural digestive flow and helps relieve the tightness and tension babies often hold during colicky episodes.
-
Yes, reflexology can help support your baby’s immune system by encouraging balance within the body.
When the nervous system is regulated and the digestive system is functioning well, your baby can better process nutrients, rest deeper, which can support fighting off bugs more effectively. It’s a gentle way to support overall wellbeing during the early months of life.
-
Some parents book regular reflexology treatments for babies especially with reflux or colic struggles, while others come in when things feel off, like during a sleep regression.
If your baby is struggling with colic, or reflux, a few consistent sessions can be needed. I recommend you have 1-2 weeks in between sessions.
With for example constipation, even one session is often effective.
I’m happy to guide you on what’s best for your baby’s individual situation.
-
Premature babies can often struggle with immature digestive systems and iron supplementation often causes further issues and constipation.
Baby Reflexology is a natural, holistic, and gentle way to help your preemie with constipation or reflux.
Many preemies benefit of the treatment greatly.
I recommend that with premature babies you wait until 2 weeks after the due date before coming to the treatment.
